Plant Type

Refinery Utilities – Cooling Tower Systems

Project Nature

Design, supply and integration of a modular electrical E-House

The project involved the delivery of a fully integrated containerized electrical substation (E-House) to support the cooling tower systems of an operating refinery, ensuring reliable power distribution, protection and control within a compact, modular solution.
Operating within an active refinery environment, SRC required a solution capable of minimizing on-site activities, reducing installation risks, and ensuring full compliance with international electrical and safety standards.
Enermove acted as electrical system integrator and problem solver, delivering a factory-assembled and tested E-House integrating Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, protection, control and auxiliary systems, ready for rapid installation and commissioning on site.

Scope of Supply

Enermove delivered a fully integrated E-House solution, engineered to operate as a single, self-contained electrical substation rather than as independent electrical packages.

Electrical E-House & Power Distribution

Design, supply and integration of a weatherproof, industrial E-House container compliant with IEC standards, housing Medium Voltage (3.3 kV) and Low Voltage (400 V) electrical systems.

Supply and integration of 3.3 kV MV switchgear based on Schneider Electric technology, including protection, control, interlocking and measurement systems.

Supply and integration of Low Voltage Power Centers and MCCs based on ABB solutions, providing reliable power distribution to motors and auxiliary services.

Design and supply of microprocessor-based protection relays, metering systems, and DC systems including dual battery chargers and 110 VDC battery banks.

HVAC systems (duty and standby), lighting and emergency lighting, earthing, ventilation and firefighting systems integrated within the E-House.

Engineering documentation, drawings and technical manuals, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspection and certification, and on-site training for SRC operation and maintenance personnel.
