Overview

The Flow Computer Panel is designed to perform accurate flow calculation, data processing, and fiscal measurement management in Oil & Gas custody transfer and allocation applications.
It represents the core calculation unit of the metering system, acquiring signals from flow meters and field instrumentation, applying industry-standard algorithms, and generating validated volumetric or mass flow data for commercial transactions.
Engineered for high accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance, the flow computer panel ensures precise measurement, traceability, and data integrity under all operating conditions.

Systems Scope

The Flow Computer Panel acquires data from flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters, applies internationally recognized calculation standards, and delivers real-time flow calculation, totalization, and fiscal reporting for both operational and commercial purposes.

Security and Access Control

Engineering of access control and cybersecurity measures to protect measurement data and comply with fiscal requirements.
Flow Computer Panels are not standalone units, but integral components of the overall metering and control architecture within Oil & Gas facilities.
The system is engineered to interface seamlessly with:

  • Metering skids, acquiring real-time data from primary measurement devices
  • Process systems, ensuring stable operating conditions for accurate measurement
  • SCADA and DCS systems, for supervisory monitoring and reporting
  • Safety systems (ESD), enabling coordinated shutdown and protection
  • Enterprise and accounting systems, for fiscal reporting and data reconciliation

This integrated design philosophy ensures that, under normal, transient, or emergency conditions, the flow computer panel maintains accurate calculation, data integrity, and compliance with fiscal measurement standards.
