Completion, supervision and automation of an existing water treatment plant

Enermove was engaged to complete and bring into operation the Water Treatment Unit (WTU) of the CDU4 refinery project, following the interruption of the original EPC contractor.

The project involved a complex scenario where part of the plant had been installed but never commissioned, with missing documentation, potential equipment degradation, and uncertain system conditions.

Enermove acted as technical authority, system integrator and project coordinator, ensuring the safe completion, automation, and start-up of the plant.

Scope of Supply

Enermove delivered a comprehensive, integrated scope covering engineering, supervision, procurement, and automation:

Engineering & Documentation Recovery

Verification, completion, and reconstruction of engineering documentation, including As-Built deliverables

Site supervision of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation completion, including pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up

Supply of spare parts, replacement of missing/damaged items, and renewal of obsolete process components

Development and implementation of PLC control software for all main treatment packages

Interface and integration with plant DCS for centralized monitoring and control
