Project

Low Temperature Ammonia Storage Tank – Flare System

Client

Duslo, a.s.

Location

Šaľa, Slovak Republic

Plant Type

Chemical Plant – Ammonia Storage & Handling

Project Nature

Design, supply and integration of a packaged flare system

The project involved the design and supply of a fully integrated flare system dedicated to a low-temperature ammonia storage facility. The solution was engineered to safely manage ammonia vapors under normal and emergency conditions, ensuring full compliance with international safety standards while minimizing site installation activities through a modular, pre-assembled design.

Scope of Supply

Flare System & Mechanical Equipment

  • Design and supply of a complete flare system for low-temperature ammonia service
  • 24 m flare stack with integrated molecular seal and guy-wired structure
  • Vertical knockout drum designed for low-temperature operation (ASTM A333)
  • Process piping, valves and accessories within skid battery limits

  • High-energy flare ignition system with explosion-proof (Ex-d) ignition control panel
  • Pilot burners with flame detection and optical flare monitoring
  • Temperature, pressure and level instrumentation with 4–20 mA signals
